Earth conquering the Titan
In case you missed the news, the Huygens lander descended onto the Titan, Saturn's satellite, today. And to show how much he misses home he sent a bunch of postcards. Never before a man-made machine landed on such a distant astral object.
As Titan is widely believed to resemble Earth as it looked three billions years ago, sciencists hope the data gathered by Cassini mission may bring us clues about our own past.
