Now I Introduce Myself!
Hello, this is Uncle Milkshake. I just wanted to introduce myself to the AG boards.
Back in 2004-2005, I was a regular forum user here under the name "deshrill" but since it has been so long, I thought I would start with a fresh one. Not sure if anyone remembers me, but thought it was worth mentioning. I'm from Georgia, but have been living in Portland, OR for 3 years and am liking it--even getting used to all the rain, which was a challenge at first. I have played several Sierra and LucasArts graphic adventures, but haven't tried many from other companies, other than Broken Sword and a few of the Tex Murphy games. I have a soft spot for cheesy FMV adventures, too. Looking forward to spending time on these forums. |

Welcome to the forums UncleMilkshake.
I came on these forums after you had left so I don't recognize you, but I guess you already know Rob, Jaz and Trep who also visit here often and Sage (who used to be called Thriftstore Scott (I think)) who drops by occasionally. Well, make yourself comfortable and why don't you try to kill The Thread. No one has succeeded yet.

Thanks for the kitten. I assume he has a key for a door hidden in his mouth, in true adventure fashion?

Yep.
I played Sam & Max Hit the Road years ago on the PC, but have only played Episode 1 Season 1 of the newer episodic entries. |

Hullo Mr Milkshake! I'm new as well and in a similar position to you where I've played a good chunk of the classics in the past but am yet to taste some of the newer and more 'niche' or 'alternative' adventures.
Here's to future adventuring! Er... *fumbles for drink to toast* ...

[belated] Welcome! Do you bring all the boys to the yard? Is that Georgia USA or Georgia between Russia and Turkey? I'm assuming it's the former, but one should never assume.
