Peeve: people who send offensive emails, and then tell you to just press the D key if you don't like it.

Peeve: getting to a favorite lunch spot by myself and have already ordered, only to sit down and discover that I've forgot my reading glasses!

Why would one order prior to taking a seat, and if having already ordered, why would a lack of spectacles be an issue, as there would be no need to read the menu anyway?
Peeve: the missing 'u' in American spellings of words such as 'favourite'.

Peeve: The way crazy Europeans add extras "U"s in so many words, like Colour. It's color, gosh darn it!

As long as we're doing culture war, let's not forget "tyre/tire".
Peeve: "tyre". It just doesn't look right.

What you need are roundabouts.

Left hand traffic!!
When driving in Scotland it was the roundabouts we were most afraid of. As long as we had a local driver in front of us to follow, everything was OK, but arriving at a roundabout all by our own always caused some light panic.

Being called a nigger
when I am clearly an Australian Aboriginal, I mean if you are going to insult me at least use the right terminology, racists are so dumb. |

Trader, I had some friends go down under last year and were shocked that the level of racism is so much higher there than here in the US (where we still have plenty of that).
You'd think that at this point, most people would be over deamonizing race and culture. So much of the human condition is wasted and degraded by racism and bigotry, it saddens the heart. Peeve: adventure games that you eventually have to give up on and uninstall.

Salt and pepper shakers in restaurants. The ground pepper is going have lost its kick, and a dish should already be properly seasoned when being made.
Another restaurant peeve is poorly washed silverware. Don't be so cheap on the soap and water. |

Peeve: Service people who don't watch their queue and help people who just walked up to the counter even though you've been standing there for 10 minutes.

Wow, I can't even imagine what it's like to be disrespected in such a horrible way. (women get called bitches and horrible things but racism just takes insults to a whole other crappy level) So sorry to hear you've been treated that way. That's disgusting. Racists are dumb. They seriously suck. |

Are everyone's lives so depressing no-one has Anti-Peeves any more?
Peeve : The way bus and train timetables show no co-ordination so I have to leave silly amounts earlier to get where I want to go. Anti-Peeve : Being able to read while doing all that travelling (an activity that is frowned upon if you're driving a car ) Only started yesterday and I'm already up to page 305 of the new (in paperback) Anthony Horowitz.
