Now see, this is how you manipulate the populous. From a news story in the main media:

"A secret U.S. law enforcement report, prepared for the Department of Homeland Security, warns that al Qaeda is planning a terror "spectacular" this summer, according to a senior official with access to the document."

Ooooo, secret? Prepared by the DHS? According to a senior official? (Not that any are cited at all.)

Then HOW in the fuck does it get on ABC?

"This is reminiscent of the warnings and intelligence we were getting in the summer of 2001," the official told ABCNews.com.

No, I'll tell you what it's reminiscent of. It's very much like all the code orange and yellow alerts given over the past 7 years to scare and then herd US citizens into accepting illegal actions by the admin.

What can it be this time, I wonder.

One of Fox News' latest exploits due to the terrorist plots in Britain: National healthcare is bad because it helps out terrorists.

Neil Cavuto: "[...] we would have to recruit outside doctors, and where we're getting the most of them these days seems to be from the Muslim world."

Islamic doctors are going to have a pretty bad rep for some time I think, what with those botched attacks in the UK allegedly committed by immigrant doctors, but yeah... points for generalization! \o/

I just moved and my new doctor is probably from Turkish heritage, and I think he rocks.

My conclusion is that all Turkish doctors are awesome. See? I'm not a racist.

There's a difference between eons old and relatively slow global warming and cooling trends compared to the recent rapid climate changes as generally agreed upon as being due to human intervention. Glaciers are not supposed to diminish 80% in 60 years.
