OMG there were some hideous Swedish albums there: Eilert for instance. He actually impersonates Elvis very seriously although he can't sing.
That Heino/Liebe Mutter album was the worst of them all though.

I had that as aposter when I was 16. The sticker on the album cracked me up. "A gift for the whole year!"

Why does coming to terms with being a swede involve approaching your family wielding an axe and a hyperventilation paper bag?
Some juicy avatar material on that page for sure! |

Wow, Tony Randall's expression is priceless (for those of us that remember the show).

I wonder if they really are bad album covers. I bet most of those actually give a correct impression of what the album sounds like. If that's true, wouldn't that make them good (but unattractive) album covers?

See his eyes on that cover? That's the reason why these days, he only appears with dark sunglasses in public. It's his trademark (and he still wears that kind of clothing. And I think he still has that hairdo.). -

Just to say, the "Worst Album Covers" site has gone down a storm with the Disturbing Auctions crowd.

OOoh-kay? I always wanted to have a CD of people possessed by Demons. Is it just me, or does this look like the cover of some horror movie? Um...nice? Well, isn't that good to know! Well, the idea of a Karatist preacher might not be all that strange, after all those people are also allowed to have hobbies...but it still gives me the giggles. No! I believe there's not enough singing priests in this world. Go, you! And it's great he didn't get an artists name. Oooh, I must buy this one! It comes with a new accent! The idea of having a CD of someone with a Ventriloquist's puppet is terrifying, but having one them dressed up as someone from the bible is truly an unpronouncable horror. That's one of the worst cases of Grammar mangling I've ever seen...Still, kind of funny. Quote:
I feel I have to explain the wordplay. A "Hasenscharte" is what you call it when the upper lip of someone hasn't grown together in the middle, similar to the upper lips of rabbits (A "Hase" is a rabbit). So they combined "Chartbreaker" and "Hasen" to get something resembling "Hasenscharte". That's also why they are wearing bunny teeth there. -

Can you explain their complexion as well?
Also, the cover of SATAN HAS BEEN PARALYZED to me at first glance seemed to feature the lord of evil as well as talk about him. The guy does seem quite paralysed, you have to admit.

The combination of "Let Me Touch Him" and the accompanying photo is the one that cracks me up completely. Have you ever seen four people more likely to be child molesters?
A ventriloquism record is baffling, but then there were famous ventriloquists on the radio. The Bible ventriloquist is pretty bad, but this one just scares the hell out of me: And I think this was drawn by somebody sitting next to me in school: |
