I knew there was a right answer to that question. You've earned a dog-eared star and an unused copy of Emancipation, Mr. Limb.

1. Nothing like a real heart? Come, come; it's reddish, roundish, and it's somewhat divided into two halves, like an exaggerated peach. The symbol is a simplification that has evolved significantly from its origin through extensive reproduction, as is the case with most symbols.
2. In what sense, Dave Van Squink? Oh, look upon my lack of bee puns and marvel.
3. Being real itself, I'd have to say my life-as-a-computer-game would be realistic.

--- (Now to inject some class into the proceedings) ---

1. Are you a folder or a scruncher?
2. Have you ever manicured your left hand in the interests of fantasy?
3. And the token throwaway question: how green is your valley?

1. Depends on whether I wanna keep or throw away the piece of paper.
2. Umm...no. But tell me more?
3. Oh it's green. It's green like you wouldn't believe. My valley is so green, you'd think it was a valley of radioactive waste! (sniggers)
____

Qs RE: Batman Begins 2 rumor mill

1. Should Batman's movie costume be less rubber, and more cloth?
2. Should the Joker in the next Batman movie wear a purple suit?
3. Do you like the working title: The Dark Knight?

1. Spandex.
2. Certainly, as long as it, too, is spandex.
3. I think it should be Quiet Knights of Quiet Stars. Oh noes, it's a bad pun!

***

1. How do you deal with people who irritate you?
2. Do you tend to wear your heart on your sleeve or keep your guard up?
3. If you hate these questions so much, why do you keep posting in this thread?

1. I've never experienced it that way round.
2. I tried the former once, but the soot ruined my shirt.
3. Clearly I'm a masochist.

---

1. Guiltiest pleasure?
2. Ideally, how do/would you spend your leisure?
3. How would you react if someone wrote a song about you?

1. Bad early 90's pop culture and cheesy love stories.
2. In a suit.
3. Someone wrote a poem about me once, and I reacted quite favourably. That being said, it would depend on the quality of said song.

***

1. Ever have fears that you may cease to be?
2. Do you enjoy rainy days, or do they just plain make you depressed?
3. Do you generally prefer instrumentals or songs with singing in them?

1. Fears? Um, won't we all cease to be? I think that's more of a reality than a fear (and I certainly do accept it, if that's what you're asking)
2. I love rainy days. I used to love being at my summer camp at night when it rained because the cabins all had tins roofs and it made the most incredible sound - I could listen to that for hours and it would be pure bliss.
3. I like both very much. It depends on the song, of course, and my mood.

---

1. Are you willing to put on a mask to get further in life (that's a metaphorical mask I'm speaking of, not a hockey mask)?
2. Have you ever or could you see yourself in the position of killing an animal for sport?
3. Do you count calories or just eat whatever tastes good without thinking about the consequences?

1. Last time I asked a variation of that question no one seemed to like it. Yes.
2. *GOL* Depends what kind of animal.
3. Well, no, if I did I'd usually be eating more.

---

How would you react if...

1. ... Captain America was made gay?
2. ... Wolverine was made female?
3. ... Batman was made a scientologist?

1. Silly rabbit, you can't make someone gay... or can you?
2. It would make sense. I always did think that Wolverine's name sounded girly.
3. I'd wonder whether Robin would be the next Katie Holmes.

1. Who is your favourite philosopher?
2. Who is your favourite mathematician?
3. Who is your favourite jazz musician?

I'd make chemistry jokes again, but I think I'll let someone who's watched more Bond movies than me answer these questions instead.

1. Teri Hatcher in Tomorrow Never Dies. Because she had apparently gotten over James by the time of the movie.
2. Tomorrow Never Dies (Note that I haven't seen the new Casino Royale, though)
3. None. Not for the work in the Bond series, at least.

_______

1. Who is favourite character from Winnie-the-Pooh books?
2. If you witnessed something that you could explain in no rational way at all, would you rather believe in the paranormal or conclude that you are going insane?
3. How exactly is John Lennon a philosopher and Albert Einstein a mathematician?

1. I like Eeyore for his gloomy and cynical view on life.
2. I did experience something when my friend who says he's a healer helped me with my head aches and neck aches. I didn't feel anything that instant, but I was noticeably better the following three days. (There was this discussion about it here on the forums as well. ) Never did I feel I had gone insane so I guess I did come one step closer to believing in the paranormal.
3. Ask Lee.

-----

1. What colour is the sky outside your window?
2. Do you ever feel blue? If so, do you also feel red or purple?
3. What colour of clothes do you feel suits you the best?

1. Gray. It's always gray in Scotland.
2. I feel blue in the traditional sense, yes. I don't exactly liken my emotions to colours though, so I'll pass on the red and purple.
3. I always wear earthy tones like browns and deep greens because I find I'm most comfortable in them.

---

1. I'm not sure if this has been asked or not, but if you were given the choice between being blind or deaf, which would you choose?
2. Is it worse to be racist or sexist (I know they're both bad, but which pisses you off more)?
3. Are you happy with the way you look?

1. By startling coincidence, I'm the one who initially asked this. My answer is blind. One way or another, you still get books and music, the latter of which beats the deaf person's films and games combined.
2. I think it's worse to be a racist because it's both more illogical — a difference in skin colour is biologically less extreme than a difference in gender — and more likely to lead to serious damage, for the opposite sex can not be forsaken or systematically eradicated from a community (if the community wishes to continue, that is) whereas different races can.
3. Not really, but I've formed an uneasy truce with it.

---

1. Knowing you're to die somewhere in your eighties, would you artificially prolong your life if you had the chance?
2. Throwing Each To Their Own nonsense out the window, is veganism justified?
3. What are you most proud of?

1. I lost it frequently in my teens. (Usually due to my younger sister.)
2. Yes. I can recall any time during my adult life when I've lost it.
3. My temper.

1. Favourite (Christmas) candy?
2. Do you like broccoli? (Of course you do. Silly question. I often wonder why movies tend to pick something so delicious as the universally hated veggie.)
3. What's a vegetable/fruit/other grown food that you dislike?

2. Yes, but I like spinach more..
3. Umm.. I don't like to eat squash just like it is, but it works well in courses. Only thing I can think of that I really dislike is beans (besides the ones in tomato sauce)
