Yes, but the problem with me and my ex is that we were both totally at home in our own fields but not in each other's. |

Oh, you weren't comfortable in her... "field"? That sounds like a personal problem, man.

(((tsa)))
Don't take it that way. Go back to my post and look at the smiley. It indicates it was something I pondered over. Nothing more. And obviously Gil is joking.

But I think you still need to have some common interests. If all they want to do is go clubbing and all you want to do is stay in watching TV, that isn't going to work (Please feel free to swap that over if all you want to do is go clubbing)

Ha ha! I got criminal law through! I can't believe it If only barely, but still... This goes perfectly to show how the law school opposite-logic grades work. When you feel it went really well, it goes horribly bad, if you feel you have no chance of passing, you're through (and sometimes with fairly good numbers too, though not this time but I couldn't care less about such grades).
Now I can read something interesting all summer |

I remember my own criminal law paper. Different law obviously and I thought I had failed but fortunately not (skin of my teeth). A scrape is as good as a distinction for some subjects anyway! |

Today my son came home from his 4 months' Australian work/travel/surfing journey. He's well, healthy and happy to be home.

That's wonderful! You know you really can't go to a place like Australia for a week or two and be satisfied with the visit.

Yesterday I finished The Lost Crown. What a brilliant game! A bit scary here and there, but I had a lot of fun with it.
