So, my basic gripe is that this kind of defeats the whole idea that the original Powerpuff Girls was a SPOOF ON ANIME. You know, with extra ridiculous special effects and sounds and godzilla scenarios all over the place.

Change it into an actual anime...

And all of a sudden the joke is gone, wouldn't you agree?

On Animé? I always viewed it as a pun on superheroes.

Hence I don't find it ironic.

If it was a spoof on anime that became an anime then it would probably end up like Excel Saga or Bobobo
