Yes, but the silly, simple art style was what made them so special. Now they look human, that's boring.

Don't get me wrong, they look really nice (and from what I could grasp from the pictures, there's still a lot of sillyness and over acting, which is good), but it's just not the same.

The old art style was great! Why change it?

[rejoice]Well, then you have me celebrating![/rejoice]

If this one ever comes to Germany, I am sure I'll enjoy it too.

I've just realised that I've never actually seen the Powerpuff Girls . I know what it looks like, though.

Haha, Mojo Jojo looks awesome in that! Actually, the bad guys in general look neat. But I definitely agree, the girls are kind of... er... *goes quirkybrowed* o.O; I mean, really... they can't suddenly have knees and elbows! XD That's wrong! And the professor can't suddenly have normal hair - we need the flat hair! Flat, damnit!

* Powerpuff Girls *

I don't know if it would suck - it depends on if they keep the humour in that variant. I mean, just because the girls suck in the way they're drawn (and the prof's hair) doesn't mean the show must suck. Maybe they'll think of good new episodes for that. It might be worth watching (theoretically - if it ever came to germany).

OH MY GOD, YES. *dies laughing*

But on a more serious note, I think the elbows an knees put me off more. A new corner where there wasn't one. Really weird.

I dont think this is going to be a show that you can compare to the original.

It looks as if its not just a direct japanese remake of the series, but just another show thats based on the same concept....I mean along with them having the extra appendages theres also the Proffessor who now has a little midget clones and it seems as if instead of the girls being made by the "sugar and spice" thing they were actualy made by having the proffessor clone blow up an iceberg or somethign....

And one of the amoeba guys are now a girl....

It is also unknown if other "returning" villains will appear (such as Sedusa, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Princess, or "Him") and if so, how many, or if there will be villains created just for this series, or if it will be a combination of both.
No "Him"? Screw it. It won't be worth it.

Just. Awful. Why would any kid choose to watch that over any other anime show from The Steaming Pile of Indistinguishable Anime Shows™?

I think it's sad what happens with all the great cartoons we grew up with (okay, so Powerpuff Girls is a bit more recent, but you get my meaning). First Bugs Bunny, then this (although this is quite harmless in comparison, actually), and just *look* what happened to Scooby Doo!

Nano-Technology Scooby Snacks, and a transforming Mystery Machine?! Holy Madness, Badman! That's terrible!

(And I thought Scrappy Doo was the worst thing that could have ever happen to that series. It seems I was wrong.)

P.s.: Who else liked "A Pup named Scooby Doo"? I did! I think the way that Velma walked was just too cute. Her legs were blurred! So cute!

Hahaha Its like Scoobyt meets inspector Gadget

Id probably watch that too, sure its annoying that they make all these changes but scooby doo was already long gone (especialy since scrappy). a pup named scooby doo was great, it was probably the only "kid version" of the old kids cartoons that was actualy good....god the Tom and Jerry kids....

*Falls into the void*

its happened to all of the old cartoons...but it doesnt really matter, the classic ones arent going anywhere, just watch reruns of them instead

My sister used to watch that show all the time, I think we saw every single episode five or six times
