I need to reset my sense of humour, evidently, for I'm failing to find those funny.

I actually think that's really admirable, and I think many women would find that attractive, so you should leave your brain for now..

(oh, and no, I'm not hitting on you.. )

She's trying to crack a walnut in the first picture right? If I were her I'd try the thighs. Women should be the first to understand the absurdity of large breasts. Perhaps it isn't the most refined way to express the humour though.

Perhaps it's just me, but huge breasts don't do a thing for me. I like fictional female icons that are realistic and proportional.

I haven't played much Lara Croft myself but I have watched other play it, and i'm always distracted by the fact that running around doing what she does with those boobs, really looks PAINFUL (I know, I have quite big .... myself and I'm not even fully grown.. ) I don't understand why gamedevelopers make women that looks so surreal. Whats wrong with the normal female body, isn't it good enough?

Ragnar made my day when he said that he didn't want over sized females in his games.. He wanted them normal..

When it comes to oversized bosoms, Lara Croft doesn't have a thing on (the late) Lolo Ferrari! hehe.

D'you think the lot of them are sexually immature nerds who lack vital social skills and can't get dates, therefore they 'sub'-consciously project their puerile sexual fantasies into their work because it's all they can do?

I'm pretty sure it's a natural predisposition and social phenomena.

well, those figures were supposed to symbolise fertility and mother earth (at least that's what the sientists belive) and a secure place for new life.. you can't really see Lara Croft as a symbol of fertility, she's so skinny, the baby can't fit.. They kept the big boobs, and forgot the big vomb, witch really is what's important, isn't it..?

I seriously doubt Lara is even remotely interested in starting a family at this point in her life.

Yet it is a representation of the ideal woman, there are many similar works.

I read an article recently that suggests that the reason why the ideal woman has changed to skinny in the west is that there is rarely fear of famine in this culture.

Her athletic frame and flexible body would be ideal for giving birth. Babies develope to be able to fit through the womb, sometimes this doesn't happen, but today many mothers don't even go that route.
