That was unexpected! What an attitude. But she is truly beautiful.

But what struck me was the poor dog in clothes and shoes. I consider it cruelty to animals to treat pets as accessories.

Is that really her voice singing, though?

That was pretty funny.

Hmmyeah, it was pretty funny. Especially as she was all sweetness and light throughout the rest of the show, thanking her mom and dad at the end.

But if SNL is going to be doing a "digital short" rap every episode, it's going to get old pretty fast.

She had to shave her head for V for Vendetta, so that might be the reason for the haircut. On the other hand, shooting on that film wrapped some six months ago as far as I know.

Yeah I saw this a short while ago, awesome I always liked her (and she was very good in Closer) but her recent comments regarding "Munich" were a bit odd - still, eveyone's entitled to their opinion.

Well I'm paraphrasing here, but it was something along the lines of saying Munich was shameless outright propaganda for the Palestinians or something. Ofcourse the Palestinians were yelling thesame thing about the Israelis and vice-versa. Anyway I was pretty surprised to hear her say this as Hollywood is generally liberal and supportive of the Palestinian state, then again there are also a lot of Jewish people there which are firmly against it (which apparently Portman is part of). I'll try to google it to get some more..

edit: Here's a google cache of some Israeli newspaper with the comments.

Apparently NBC had issues with it being on that website. There's a link to it here.

I wouldn't know. We don't get SNL on our local TVs in Malaysia, not even on satellite. But we do get David Letterman at stupid o'clock, so I hardly watched it either.

That was the least funny sketch I have seen in months. The only part that was vaguely amusing was the little girl dressed up as Amidala. I don't even see the point to it... just having NP pretend to be a gangster rapper for five minutes? Why is that funny? It's only got a one "joke" (NP is really a badass; LOL!). The songs lyrics weren't even funny. And why on earth was there a guy dressed up like a viking in it? It's also only funny to get stars doing stuff when it feels a little bit edgy or self-deprecating; that was just lame hollywood sycophancy.
