Default Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Latte

Oh my god. This stuff is like a cross between a snickerdoodle cookie and liquid crack.

That's all. Just wanted to share.

Eh, I'll stick with a regular mocha for my fancy coffee fix

Does it still taste of coffee? If so, I'm not interested. If, on the other hand, it tastes of cinnamon and what-not (I'm not joking here) then Starbucks may have come up with a product that I might like ...

Mira and I fell for the Cafe Nero chocissimo whilst she was here. There's no such thing as a more chocolatey coffee.

I love Starbuck's Macchiato. There's not Starbucks here in Moscow.

No, I stand corrected. Apparently there is one, but I read somewhere that it will only cater to Americans. There's some kind of a legal stint regarding the brand name since there is another Russian company here with the same name, but not running any coffee business.

Just took a peek at the Cinamon Doulce Latte watchamacallit. It does look good, though.

It tastes like cinnamon and milk. It doesn't really taste like coffee at all. And it has 100 fewer calories than my previous drink of choice, the Toffee Nut Latte. And it must contain enough caffeine to invigorate a dead slug, because I'm bouncing off the walls.

Yesterday I and two coworkers were at Starbucks when they handed out free samples of this stuff. Today, all three of us bought one instead of our regular drinks. THAT's how good they are.

Can't wait to go back to Malaysia and hit the nearest Starbucks...

Nespresso has made me addicted to coffee. I used to just buy expensive coffee and pop it in a regular machine, but this stuff tastes so much better, the best way to describe it would be sex in a cup, especially when they had 'limited edition' Brazilian pink cups (little vacuum sealed aluminium cups with coffee in them) a while back

I don't think we have any Starbucks here in Amsterdam, though CoffeeCompany is probably similair, still it doesn't quite come close to making a fresh cup of cappucino in your undies at 7 in the morning

Who needs a machine? Use a proper Espresso pot. Very quick and fresher.

Lazy people do! Besides, how would I foam up the milk? Probably fresher, I know, although they do claim to vacuum seal the stuff as soon as it's ground.

It makes me think of an exchange I overheard the other day in EB. A kid about 10 was walking around the store and his dad was following him around. The dad takes a game down off the shelf and asks the kid if he's interested in it, to which the kid responds, "That's a PC game. PC games suck."

Then the kid takes down a Prince of Persia game and shows it to his father. The dad says, "Fifty dollars is a little too expensive," to which the kid responds, "ALL games cost fifty dollars."

Next the kid goes into the Xbox section. Dad follows. He says, "Why are you looking at these? You don't have an Xbox." Kid replies, "Yes I do." Dad, a bit taken aback, says, "Wait a minute... I just bought you that Sega, and you already have an Xbox?" Kid goes, "Yeah. MOM bought it for me." (Clearly this was Dad's weekend.)

Okay, fast forward a few minutes. I'm in line and the kid and his dad are behind me. One of the monitors overhead is playing an ad for Gun, and right behind the counter are all the copies of Gun with their M ratings prominently displayed. The kid goes "Gun's a cool game." Dad, desperate for his son's approval, replies, "Yeah, it looks really cool. Look at all the weapons!"

And we wonder what's wrong with society today.

And the fact that I just went so far off topic for such a little payoff should indicate just how much caffeine this cinnamon dolce latte contained. (Nice save, eh?)

Nice save indeed, I was wondering where you were going with that
Had it been Lula 3D or a similair game, the father would've probably explained why it was M rated

Or the kid would have explained it to the father.
