Upon watching Road Warrior again, I still say Thunderdome is better. The production values are higher and Max is a better character. Road Warrior is still a great movie on its own, but Thunderdome owns it. Whured.

I watched parts of Mad Max 3 last night, because one the tv channels was airing it.
God damn that was an awful movie with all that Lost Boys stuff and Tina Turner...

Ok...ok fine! But you have to admit, thunderdome has a more apocalyptic feel to it. Road Warrior...not so much.

If you're a big Mad Max/Roadwarrior fan you might enjoy playing NCsoft's Auto Assault.
Its a bit more advanced though, less emphasis on cobbling together the technological remnants of a now unattainable level of civilisation. |
