For some reason I speak English with an American accent, even though most of my teachers were Australian or English.

I want to have a British accent...

(although sometimes, I can sound like I have a very strong accent, that is something between Scottish and Swahili - It comes and goes)

That can be ~~fixed~~ altered with practice.

Though quite what you mean by a "British" accent is anyone's guess. Scottish? Irish? Brummie? Welsh? Liverpudlian? Home counties? Hampshire? Stereotypical Hollywood Villain (my personal favourite)?
