Really? Well, in that case, I'd like to state for the record that I'm looking to make a deal with an Xbox programmer. I need this programmer to "fix" Resistance: Fall of Man so that it, you know, kind of works on a 360.

I was thinking: "Wait a minute, that can't be Paul's wife...she looked different in the last photo."

But for some reason it didn't strike me that it could be your mother. What with being haunted by visions again lately, I can't properly think, it seems. Gods, I hate stressful times. Visions always come back during those.

My condolences because of the death of your mother, Paul.

Gah... I love people at university that decide to change channel on the only television in college so that they can talk over Eastenders while getting drunk.

All I wanted was to watch Shark. I'm angry now.

Hah, I'm not the only one who watches Shark, eh?

Why don't you just shout "Hey, I was watching that!" or even better, buy your own tv? These days one can get a decent sized CRT for less than I'd spend on shoes.

It's called a television licence. I don't have one for my room.

Nothing specific. I hardly remember much of them once they've passed. I'm calling them "visions" out of a lack for a better word. They're coupled with a very uncomfortable feeling (it's especially bad if I have them while lying in bed, trying to fall asleep. I have to turn on the light, because it not only makes me feel uncomfortable, but also kind of weak and in the dark I notice it also scares me a lot.), and starts with the air suddenly starting to take one a strange, fake smell. Then images flicker through my mind (oddly enough, they usually seem to be vaguely from the Ducktales. Don't ask me why. I have no idea why that is so myself.).

One time I had one of those "visions" while talking to a friend in school. While it happened, I saw him talking, I even heard the words, but the meaning of them did not reach my brain, though I knew I should know them. I had to ask him to repeat what he had said because of that.

Or today, I was reading something on my computer, when I got one of those visions. I tried reading on while it happened, and while I did read something which basically made sense in itself (though it was kind of weird), it did not make sense in the context of the rest of the text I had read earlier (it was something relating to NWN 2, originally). And when I reread it after the vision had passed, it was different. Though I could have sworn when I read the text earlier, it had *looked* different too, though that was just not possible.

So yeah, those visions are not my favourite thing, though hardly more than an annoying inconvenience, I guess.

Perhaps it's all brought on by playing NWN.

No it isn't. I haven't played that in a while.

I do know that while I was taking Strattera instead of Concerta, I did not have those visions. And no, it's not caused by Concerta either, because I have had those even when not taking the medicine for a while. Anyway, since Strattera put quite a dampener on my spirit, making me unmotivated and slow in everything, until even my mother did not recognise me, we decided to switch back to Concerta. I'm quite happy to accept visions if it means I am also myself.

Oh, and I guess I got off light with Strattera. I've read that in some people it creates suicidal thoughts. Though I think that had I gotten suicidal thoughts, it would not have taken so long to switch back to Concerta. Suicide goes against my set of mind. I always look on the bright side of life, and always try to find a way out of bad situations, and would never think of suicide.

One of my friends lives... well, nowhere, right now the floor of a Greyhound bus station in San Fransisco. He's pretty cool, and a sharp guy, but he doesn't take any medicine for his ADHD, so he's all over the place. He can't even get into his apartment because he owes the owner $1000. He can't keep a job because he always feels the need to tell the boss how thing should be done.

Still, I've heard some bad stuff about the drugs, but maybe they would help him. I don't know.

I've been told a lady's lunar cycle can induce hallucinations...

The drugs are not that bad, if they are dealt with properly. My doctor is a professor of psychology who specialises in that, and he always asks me how I deal with the stuff. That's why we replaced Strattera again.

I wouldn't be able to function properly wihtout the medicine, either. I am a non-responder, which is fairly common with people that have ADHD, but in my case it's extreme. I think I still hold the record in the clinic that my doctor works in. He was reluctant to suscribe me such a high dosis, but he since I didn't show any signs of it working (non-responder, like I told you), they had to increase the dosis to high levels (I think 2-3 concerta in the morning, and one at lunch, it was last I checked).

These days it's a bit better. It gets better once one grows up, but it never really stops completely. But these days I usually can go without the concerta at lunch, or sometimes even without the ones in the morning, as long as I drink enough water through the day.

In that case, good thing I wasn't having hallucinations.
