Thy hand, belinda, darkness shades me.
On thy bosom let me rest.
More I would, but death invades me.
Death is now a welcome guest.

When I am laid in earth, may my wrongs create
No trouble in thy breast.
Remember me, but ah! forget my fate.

(Bonus points for anyone who knows what this is without looking it up.)

Isn't this a bit too heavy for you? And besides, I am behaving, just as I am behaving.

Not as heavy as the weight of this Thread™, which is a weight that I'm quite desperate to get off the minds of everyone here by killing it.

She wants to play lumberjack, she's going to have to learn to handle her end of the log.

Yeah, that one was the worst. They had a ten month old child at home and she wasn't working at the time. She must have gone straight from dropping him off at the airport to the furniture store because she told him this the minute he called her from our room to let her know he arrived okay.

My next novel's gonna be an adult comedy about a couple of swingers.
It sounds cool. Most writers have to go through multiple submissions before finding a good agent or publisher. Just keep trying, you'll get there!

Cheers Scotty & Bulldog! Got a list of agents to send it off to, so hopefully I'll have more luck with them.

I bet that guy really kicked off when he called his wife and got the news Scott. Was there much screaming involved?

If I were that guy, I know I would be yelling at my wife if she calls me and complains that an animal took a dump on the carpet, our kid is "failing" math. Some women are out of their gourds when they talk to their husband, complains about stupid stuff, i.e... the dog crapping in the floor. Clean it up. There is no need to call your husband, what’s he going to do, rush home clean it and go back to work? Hardly.

About your book Seebaruk, is there some way that we can get a look at it or are you going to wait until it is published before we can peek at it? At any rate, good luck with the next publisher, if they say no, let me know and I will break his jaw (see worst date thread). HA, HA.

Ah, but to successfully bore us you'd have to show a great amount of passion about an uninteresting topic; if you just crib of Wikipedia we'll all realise and just ignore every long post you make .

I don't know about that, but I do know that many Finn's have the weirdest sence of humour. Our dear UPtimist is one of them!
