I think that given half a chance I could heavily persuade them in you general direction at the very least; you and your book would have to do the rest. As I am very sure that you are very capable of doing.

You know, I give up on killing this thread. It's evidently useless, so instead I shall just find something else to do with my life. Hopefully.

Sweet! If any of them represent writers whose work is similar to yours, they'd be the ones to go for first.

Nah, he was just deeply depressed for the next three days. I tried my best to get him to go out and explore the town but he just wanted to sit in the room and brood. I even offered to pay his way wherever we went, but he would have none of it.

Poor guy. That's not just selfish, it's a pretty bad betrayal of trust. I bet she had it schemed out ages in advance too. And if he had gone out and splurged on a new car or something similarly expensive, I bet she would've not talked to him for months. Joint bank accounts - very bad idea!

Did I read Rob's last post right? He's actually giving up on his life mission?

Quite the contrary! You've finally found something that matters more to you than killing this thread.

What, giving up?

You may have a point there, actually.

Turtle cheesecake? Please elaborate.

I must confess, I also love cheesecake.

We should all have cheesecake right now, it'll be like The Golden Girls.

You can milk turtles and then make cheese from it?

I hate cheesecake. It makes me sick. When I eat too much.

golden girls it is....

he makes the graham crackers bottom ( kimmy's crust) with caramel in the bottom and bakes that for about 15 minutes until it gets crunchy, then he pours in his batter for the cheesecake and bakes for about an hour or hour and 15 min.... lets that cool the he take cold caramel (like they sell in grocery stores) and pour that over just the top and lets that harden( because the top of the cheese cake is still warm) and it make the caramel a little hard, the finally he takes chocolate covers turtles(the candies) and chops them up into bite size pieces and put those all over the top and refrigerates over night. The next morning the caramel (from expanding and contacting from the heat) covers most of the chocolate candies..... and it is awesome .

my husband also backs (homemade mind you)

chocolate chip cookies
triple chocolate chunk brownies
strawberry cheesecake
mocha chocolate cheesecake
death by chocolate cheesecake
key lime cheese cake
and last but not least plain cheesecake
