I think she means rulers. A ruler is a device with which you can measure lengths.

I am concerned with the potential inconvenience you might face when you're hopping back and forth at 3 am trying to calm Third Degree down.

There might be some kind of degree of difficulty in that.

Yeah, I've got sciatica in the old left leg. I knew I should have got rid of it while I had the chance, get that chainsaw on standby Trunk!

Let me know when you want pain boy back tsa.

Still, my therapist told me it's definitely my parent's fault.

tsa, I have beef with you. I watched a movie last night by a Dutch director and it was weird. Not enough talking, (seriously, like 10 whole minutes would go by while someone was driving, for god's sakes) not enough action, and definitely not enough people getting killed. It was like some weird mood piece or something. Who makes movies like that?

*contemplating correct answer from hundreds of choices*

"OMG" would be appropriate but a bit vulgar for my tastes.

So, let's just stick with: I thank you from the bottom of my heart with this absolutely and completely new information that is bound to change my life completely, as gaining access to such profound secrets often does. Now I feel a completely new angle to life and things that people do. Indeed.

Say, are there also other things one might measure lengths? Surely, I had not expected one such device to exist. To even think such marvel might be forged by the hands of a mere man...

Oh, this life in marvellous, wonderous times we have!

Oh, and Intense, are you ready to continue? We still have much to discuss, even if you did go off with a virtual would-be.

Was there sex in the movie? Every Dutch movie has sex in it, whether it's appropriate or not. And what was it called?

It was a spy movie with George Clooney in it, called The American. And yep, there was sex in it.

Sorry about that Doctor, I felt like I was miles away.

You didn't hypnotise me and do anything... well you know... funny to me did you?

Cool, I have that one on DVD. I got it as a gift from my newspaper. I haven't even taken the wrapping off it though. A friend of mine saw it and told me it's 'vague.'
