Arrrrghhhh! I was planning to spend the weekend with my parents who live in the northeastern PA. My father just told me that they have a winter storm warning in effect and expect to get 3 to 5 inches of snow and op top of that up to a quarter inch of ice from freezing rain by Friday afternoon. Enough already! Winter hasn't even officially started yet and this is already third accumulating snow event of the season. God, I hate Winter.

Pssst! Samsie. 5 inches of Snow is 15 centimetres of snow. Quote:
Actually we get free if too many students won't be able to get to school because of snow (and the traffic jams usually resulting of it). Many kids (especially the younger ones) are brought to school with the car by their parents, or come by taxi. Some even come from as far as the Taunus. So it all depends on those kids, if we have time to play in the snow, or not. Also, I think the best homework we ever got was in primary school: Play in the Snow! All that being said, I'd rather ... just ... sing ... *Jazhara sings* IIIII'm dreamiiiiing of a whiiiiiite Christmaaaaas Just like the ones I used to knoooow *Igrette sings*Where the treetooops glisten, and childreeeen listeeeen *both sing*To heaaaar sleigh bells in the snoooow *Jazhara sings*IIII'm dreamiiiing of a whiiiite Christmaaaaas With every Christmas card I wriiiite *Both sing*May your days beee merry and briiiiiight And may all your Christmases be whiiiite *Both sing*I'm dreaming of a whiiiite Christmaaaaas With every Christmas card I wriiiiite May your days beeee merry and briiiiight [at this point, wine glasses start to break] And may all your Christmases be whiiiiite! *Iggy and Jazhara bow* Thank you, thank you! "We're here till Christmas! Always ready to give autographs!" - P.s.: I really sing that song pretty high pitched. We sang it with the school choir last year, and I was the eternal Soprano singer in the Choir (usually together with the Primary school choire, since the Secondary Choir was not really large in the end. But I think we sang that song without them). I don't make glass shatter, though.

Plenty confused. So don't talk to me about confusion. *Wait a minute. Back up just a sec. What about that?* What about what? *Well, "School" "Snow Day" And the half a dozen other details you've chosen to ignore.* You know what? You're nuts. I don't need to listen to this shit from you. *Are all these things coincidences?* Shut up! *There is no Karmillo, there never has been. You invented him.* Leave me alone! *You are alone.* I like Johnny Depp...

Man, I'm sitting here deciding whether I should drive in to work, since the dreaded "wintry mix" (a mix of snow, ice, and rain) has hit our region. I probably will, but boy oh boy, is it going to be one long drive.

It has been snowing continuously the past three days or so. We gave a nice thick cover of snow on everything now. Sadly, the weather forecast says it will thaw by Silvester (New Years Eve). I hope it snows after that again. Snow is nice!
