Jaz, you are so damn pretty!

And penguins are evil. Precisely why I want one, so we can plan murders together.

Has that penguin just told Jaz a joke?

Why couldn't the polar bear eat the Penguin?
Because it couldn't get the wrapper off!

Do the couple of dozen plush toy versions I have at home count? You could suffocate someone easily with the largest one.

I've got a squeaking FinFin plushie at home. That's a Turquise mixture of Penguin and Dolphin...and it flies. It's kind of cute, actually...

Of course, being old and grown up* I don't actually have any of my penguins with me. They live at home, lurking to protect my bedroom from all who dare enter**.

* Hey, I can dream, right? University is kind of there...
** Which is basically my mother when she decides to clean. The fact that she is rarely prepared to enter "that pig sty" suggests that the penguins are doing the trick. Because she likes pigs.

It's kind of hard to say which one's cuter, Jazy or the penguin.

I made cranberry sauce from scratch earlier this evening in preparation for tomorrow. Turned out deliciously and it was so damn easy, just fresh cranberries, fresh orange juice, water, grated orange rind, sugar, and a good deal of letting it simmer. I know I could have played around with the recipe but it's my first time making it and I wanted to learn the basics.

If my sister were anywhere nearby, she'd drop by. That's her favorite!

And on the Tofurkey theme:

As a person, yes. But the six others never got to be Empress.

By the way, what happened to First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth?

Have you read about the electronic sensor-based video game thing? The one where you have to wave your arms at the sensor and "talk" to the FinFin?

I so want that, even if it was made in 1997 or something .

They were outnumbered.

Happy Turducken Day everyone! (Note: I have not actually ever had turducken, or really ever had a desire to eat one. http://www.chefpaul.com/turducken.html)

We're heading over to an aunt's house for the day, and I'm going to make some sweet potato tarts and a pumpkin pie with a streusel topping. I've never made either one before, so here's to not poisoning anyone.

Yes, I did. I own it (can't remember where it is right now, though). The picture you posted was of the edition I have. It included the standard set (Game, Sensor, and FinFin-Whistle), and the plush toy.

The Sensor did not want to work correctly on my old computer...I think I should search for the things some time in the future, and then try it again.

It worked perfectly on one of my friends' computer, though. It's a lot of fun, and you actually have to first get FinFin to trust you. And the seasons change. It's fun.
