Happy Tofurkey Day!
I have a feeling that I will be too stuffed on Tofurkey to get on the net tomorrow so I will wish everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving Day a great holiday a bit early.
Happy Tofurkey day everyone! Have a great, happy, and safe holiday! http://vegweb.com/recipes/subs/turkey2.shtml Remember, a turkey alive is better than a turkey dead. http://vegweb.com/recipes/events/ind...ksgiving.shtml |

I love you, Gilly, and I respect your position...
...but I love a good tryptophane high almost as much.

We don't eat turkey, so don't worry. But we eat goose, but geese are evil anyway. Although these days we don't even eat goose at home any longer (too much hussle, and the smell is so hard to get rid of). -

In Davis, we have a food co-op that sells Turkeys that are raised free range, no feed additives, etc. to appease the consciences (sp?) of non-vegetarians.

Thanks, gillsie. But sadly we are going to eat a turkey. A dead one.
I'm making the cranberry sauce from scratch! ( wait a sec, it's damn easy what am I bragging about?)

Mute Swans (the white ones in parks) are trés evil. Black Swans are nice. Maned Wolves are aweworthy, Dragons are too (goes without saying). Quetzals are splendid. Skunks are sweet. My female bunny is evil, while the male bunny is a coward (it's always like that. Every male bunny we had was very easy to freak out, and every female bunny we had was very dominant.). Oh, and she's moody. I like her. Foxes are nice (especially the European red fox). Crows, Ravens, Magpies and the like should be worshipped. I'm serious. They're the intellectuals of the Avian group too. Lizards are very nice. Wolves, Hyenas, African Wild Dogs, and the likes are very nice. Large cats, like Leopards, Cheetahs and so on are also nice. And Lions, except when they kill Cheetah cubs. I could go on for ever. And before I forget, Penguins are trying to take over the world. But everybody knows that. I've got evidence! Photographic evidence! Quote:

I'm not doing a Google Image search, I'm downloading them from my camera. And then resizeing them, and then uploading them to Imageshack. Anyways, here they are. Mission Report, Contact with the Penguins On September 4th our spies reported the sighting of a suspicious individual within the borders of the secret hometown of our grand supreme Empress. They were ordered to investigate further, in order to determine wheter or not this person could be a threat to the well being of our high and mighty Empress. Soon our agents had found the tracks of the suspect, and were tracking observing it for some time. Though the suspect was trying to camouflage himself as a Balloon tree, his masquerade was good for naught - Blue and Orange balloons never grow on the same tree. After a closer inspection, our spies validated the assumations that we were faced with a giant Emperor Penguin. Soon they discovered he was not a spy of the Penguin Nation, but an Ambassador thereof. A meeting was arranged with our resplendent grand Empress Jazhara the First. After some complications with the correct settings of the camera, this picture was taken to symbolise the pact that is currently being in preparation to get sealed between the Penguins and Humanity - The Penguins support our cause to stop the Grey Squirrels from taking over the world. I told you I had photographic evidence! Did you think my spies were there to look pretty? I myself taught them their craft! -
