How long does it take for it to play? I've been sitting her forever and nothing's happening. Why can't they use a standard format like Quicktime instead of this crap no one's ever heard of?

Jesus, that was a fast feed. Dunno what that player is, but it immediately popping up a reasonably high-quality full-screen like that was impressive.

I need to see this film. I didn't like the bad guy in the trailer, he seemed weak, but then this film, and the series, isn't about setting up clear characters with neat delineations. Just the right amount of empathy and cold steel to make me want to see this guy in action later.

Netflix is your friend. Or ebay. If you like goood sci-fi, I'd say just buy it. If you don'tlike it, you can always sell it again on ebay and not lose muchmore than it would have cost to rent it.

Yeah, there's a massive pipe behind that site. It's nice. I'd love to see that kind of thing for more films.

It's been on DVD since a few months after it was cancelled, over a year ago, but people are only hearing about it now because of Serenity

It's $35 on amazon.com, btw.

Don't wait until you see the show to see the movie. You can see the movie first. You should see it in theaters. In fact, you should see it this weekend... the box office returns will go a long way toward determining if there's a sequel. And believe me... you'll want to see a sequel. Get to the theaters! Bring a friend!

I missed the show when it was on but OOOOOOOOOOOOO, is that clip coooool. I may actually need to see this in the theatre (I'm much more inclined to rent than go to the cinema).

I really hope so, because I watched 4 episodes of the Serenity show when it was on Sky in the UK and I was really disappointed.
I was really looking forward to it as it was written by the brilliant Joss Whedon, but this show did nothing for me - the storyline was poor and there were no characters that stood out

Did you see it from the beggining? The true season premiere was an important hooking point for me.

I think so.....was it the one where they were transporting some girl who was in suspended animation?
I quite enjoyed that episode but the characters didn't appeal to me

Yup, that's the one. As far as the characters go, I guess it's a matter of taste. Anti-heros are my favorite kind of heroes.
