Hmm. So it's Disneyworld in FL, and Disneyland in CA, then? Not that I worry too much; I'd rather go to Universal Studios.

I hope you have fun, Lucien! If by some chance of insanity you decide to take a 1200 mile detour north while you're at it, let me know.

Oh, and I demand you take lots of pictures and share them with us.

Peace & Luv, Liz

Watch out for the flying cockroaches!!

And make sure you go to Animal Kingdom and do the safari ride-it's fun. Well the whole of Animal Kingdom is fun (it's the only part of DisneyWorld I've been to).

Have Fun!!!

Enjoy, Lucien. As for the sunscreen, at least an SPF of 30. You white people are more prone to burns and cancer than we olive skinners.

Indeed they are. They eat the flying cockroaches, which are known as "palmetto bugs" by the locals.

I certainly hate a great part of the US politics, but that's got nothing to do with how beautiful this country is, or how nice some people are.
My three weeks of hollydays in California rocked.

Green Mill Lounge, Chicago - Martinis, live jazz, hip locals

Ninth, you need to go to Chicago. You haven't seen life until you go to the Green Mill Lounge for a martini and live jazz (Brazilian bossa nova on Monday nights), watch a free screening of a classic Hollywood movie at the Frank Gehry designed outdoor theatre at Millenium Park downtown under a summer night sky, watch a baseball game at Wrigley Field with diehard Cubs fans, pig out on deep dish pizza at Gino's East, and take a lazy stroll along the lakefront.

I need to go to Phoenix (shortly, apparently it's a very odd city), New York (not shortly), Chicago, and back to California.
Not to mention other countries... Life is too short, damnit.

Wrigley Field - AAAHHHHH!!

Ivy on the walls, beautiful stadium, when the breeze blows in - it is fantastic. The surrounding neighborhood is just incredible with lots great bars and restaurants. It doesn't matter how the FlubsCubs are playing because the experience is so incredible.

I used to live there, a few blocks away. It was hilarious because practically everyday during the summer there are Cubs fans everywhere, whole families of them from the cornfields far away from the city converging in for a ballgame. Many of them were drunk too, from the sports bars all over, and it was particularly amusing because Wrigley Field is right by Halsted Street, the city's primary gay neighbourhood. So you get these wholesome 'Baseball & Apple Pie' whitebread Cubs fan folks running into these big sweet Muscle Marys in leather chaps saying 'You go girl!' to each other and slapping each other's asses, and you watch the Cubs fans with these looks on their faces and their little kids wondering where in Walmart they can get those cool clothes.
