Default Suggestions for Monkey Island Tribute?

Hey, adventure lads & lasses, it's Deshrill.

If you've seen my GK Tribute Montage, it has a teaser at the end for a Monkey Island Tribute.

After watching my GK Tribute several times, I've come to some conclusions, as well as some questions:

1) It's waaaaaaaay too long. Perhaps 5 minutes would be a more suitable length.

2) Did anybody download just the MP3 and enjoy it or did more people download the montage (video & audio)?

3) Was the use of real images & music (i.e. images from art & cultural history as well as national anthems) effective or should I have stuck just to images from the game?

4) Should I do a Tribute to all 4 Monkey Island games or just the first one?

5) Would enough people want to see a Monkey Island tribute?
---
That's it... Thanks for downloading/looking at my forums posts about the GK Tribute.

As a side note, the GK Tribute (because of it's length, etc) has cut into my school time, so the MI Tribute will take a few weeks to do, probably (I have a busy quarter at school).

Woah, dude. Take a breath. Re-LAAXX. You're starting to sound like John
Moschitta after a double-expresso. :-)

It's great that you want to do a tribute, but you don't need to rush it. You sound very excited in your (many) posts. My advice is to definitely take a break. Don't worry about us. We're amateur adventure game makers. We're used to things taking a long time! :-D

Yes, I agree with your advice...

I guess I just found it very inspiring to work with arranging music for the first time and having it flow together so well. My MIDI compositions have also been improving...

My class schedule is very busy this quarter, so I need to relax, as you have suggested.

And do homework. As well as stop posting so much! {:[| | ]}

For the record, I prefer a hot chai latte over an espresso, but I honestly don't drink caffeine that much (except for a cup of tea in the morning).

I have a suggestion. Keep it in one thread.

And I agree with Dave; settle the @#*$ down.
