Default you guys like headaches

me too.

I'm a huge fan of point&click games (it has started with maniac mansion).
Inspired by those games and by online riddle games like notpron i've created my own riddle game (about a year and a half ago).

It was a French game but now i finally translated it in English.

http://www.ouverture-facile.com

I hope you'll enjoy it, there are 74 levels but i have to translate 2 more. The game doesn't really end because i add more levels when i have some fresh ideas. Some advanced levels require the player to build paper cubes, solve a murder, open a safe or defuse a bomb.

If you're stuck, read the game rules here : http://www.ouverture-facile.com/start/rules.html

Plesase don't spoil the other players, don't give links or answers, just try to help the people without spoiling them, it will be more fun that way.

The english forum is here : http://forum.ouverture-facile.com/

ps : you will not find help for the 10 first levels, why ? There is an explanation : http://forum.ouverture-facile.com/viewtopic.php?id=74

Ps : The next level (the 77) will be a point&click level.

Hope you'll have fun with this game, good luck !

Welcome!

I moved your thread into the Underground section where we put developed games that are free. It sounds interesting.

To give more informations on the game :

- The game was launched in June 2005
- It became well known in france (with more than 19 000 members and more 300 000 players).
- There are 92 levels in the French version and 76 in the English version
- But it's not over yet, i add more levels when i've got some ideas
- In the French version there is a section called "Votre Ouverture Facile" (Your Ouverture Facile) where players can create riddles. This section will soon be avaible in the English Version.

The clue is : sometimes you need to know where to look to get what you seek

Now you know where to look, time to know what you seek .

ps : reading the rules might be useful -> http://www.ouverture-facile.com/start/rules.html

I am on level 4 and I knew what the picture was of straight off the bat.

However,

Spoiler:
I hadn't realized that the clues HAD to be used in order to get to the next level. Could you use any google search or just the one in the hint toolbar? Anyway, I think me knowing what the image was of ruined the heuristics I needed in order to solve the problem. I think I must be looking for the image name right off the bat rather than trying to search for it on google. It said in the directions that I might need to download an image by typing it into the search bar?

Great game by the way! I am having a blast.

Sometimes clues are necessary, sometime they aren't. Sometimes google is needed, and sometimes not (when it's needed or helpful i add a search toolbar). Sometimes you have to change the url, sometimes you have to click on something and sometimes you have to enter the answer in a text box.

It depends... Try anything and search everywhere

By the way, level 75 is online !

I've added some extra clues for the first 10 levels (if you are really stuck on these ones), reload the clue page to see the changes.

The level 77 will be online this month.
