Default Pirates!

I saw a game on sale second-hand recently, looked quite good. Set on an island, it looked to be a 3d action adventure (explore the docks/caves/beach etc) and I think was pirate-based. I'd never heard of it before; it looked similar to MI4 in terms of graphics (rounded 3d) and is probably a few years old. I'm not sure if 'Pirate' is anywhere in the title, I think it may have had a longer name like "insert-name-here and the secret pirate island" or whatever ("name and the something-something"). If anyone's heard of something similar to this (I think the box had a picture of the whole island, like Myst did), please post some game names or links to screenshots so I can find it - I had a quick look on ign by searching for 'pirate' but it was none of these. It was on PC. I don't think it was one of the big famous releases, it was more of a low-budget romp around an island, solving puzzles and exploring, and possibly foiling some purates or getting to the treasure first. Any help appreciated!

It's Sid Meiers Pirates!

I thought you already knew from the title.

Could also be Pirates Of The Caribbean.

"A Quiet Weekend in Capri" fits the description of the box, but no pirates.

I think it might be Red Jack, thanks. Looked good, reviews say otherwise

Hey I had Red Jack once, it was a "fun" game, but the game engine was really bad.

I only bought it because it had pirates in it...

Any chance it was Redguard, a part of the Elder Scrolls series? The game box has a map of the island and it's definitely pirate themed and in 3D. Although it might very well have been Red Jack and you can ignore me.
