Default A Nod to Gabriel Knight Fans in SWAT 4

So I finally got around to getting SWAT 4, and I noticed that when you start up the game, at the title screen, where it says Sierra, if you just watch it, the Sierra logo will become slightly more pixilated, and at the top you'll see "Score: 0 out of 245" which I believe is a nod to Gabriel Knight fans. I could be wrong though.

Edit: Actually, it does it at the "Irrational Games" screen, so maybe i'm wrong.

Er, how is that exactly? All the Sierra adventure games had scores.

Believe it or not, Gabriel Knight wasn't the only adventure game made by Sierra, haha. It's most likely a nod to Sierra's past, which was 95% adventure games until about 1996 (When Ken Williams sold the company).

EDIT: Beaten by Duncan.

Ah, well that could be as well, I just said Gabriel Knight because it looked most like it. But like I said in my edit, it wasn't at the Sierra screen, so that may make a difference. I just thought it was cool! God!

At any rate it couldn't be referring to a Gabriel Knight game if the total score was only 245 points. Gabriel Knight I had 342 points, II had 679 and III 965 points.

The point I was making was that it was at least a reference to it's adventure games.

Apparently there's also a Roger Wilco pinball machine somewhere in the game too.

Ok, the first one who finds out which Sierra games has 245 points, wins a prize.

(A vacation to Sierra Nevada)

Sounds like some people at Irrational Games still remember the glorious Sierra past, that's refreshing!

The SWAT games are an offshoot of Police Quest if that helps.

I feel old.

There you go, I was right! That was annoying me so much I had to look it up - 245 points in the original Police Quest. Loved that game, and the second.

get, and how many points total {there are 245 possible points, but you can
get 246}.

I've just come back from the Sierra Nevada, but will accept any platitudes and free games people are willing to throw at me.
