Default TLJ question about Tobias

In "The Longest Journey" on day 10 (i think) when you get back to Arcadia

Spoiler:
the librarian in the sentinel encalve informs you Tobias has been murdered. He said Tobias probably knew his killer, that tobias didn't struggle much and so on.

But a few chapters later i still hadn't discovered who killed him.

Did i miss anything?

Here's what we have found through more than twenty pages of discussion on the Official TLJ forums, and the The DIVIDE (the longest journey fan page and forums))

Spoiler:
We don't know who killed him.

A bit more interesting is what we found after the TLJ: Dreamfall page was released:

Spoiler:
There was a discussion, if maybe Kian was the one who killed Vestrum Tobias. After all, we know he is an assassin for the six, which seem to have replaced the Balance in the minds of the people of Arcadia (they don't say things like "By the Balance!" or "Blessed be the Balance". Instead they say "By the six!" or "Blessed be the Six", as we can see by the example of Belrime Salmin, who we know used the expressions with the Balance before. But then again, Dreamfall plays 10 years later, so Kian might not be THE assassin, but there is still the possibility, that it was a follower of the Six, that might have stayed in the dark at that time.

Welcome to the forum, Sirblade!

I changed the title of your post and edited in spoiler tags, just so it doesn't give anything away for people who haven't played TLJ yet. For future reference, spoiler tags are done by typing [ spoiler ]spoiler info goes here[ /spoiler ] -- but without the spaces between the brackets and the word "spoiler."

It would be neat if there would be a spoiler button. Don't know if there is such an option in VBulletin though.

Sorry for being off topic, but thanks a bunch, fov.

I've looked all over the place for instructions on how to make spoiler tags and couldn't find anything.

click on FAQ on the top of the page and then scroll down to reading and posting messages, in that sub catigory you should see "Are there any special codes/tags I can use to markup my posts?" click that, then you will be sent to a small paragraph explaning the VBcode, you should see a small link in that paragraph, if you clikc that it will give you a diagram of all the coding you can use.

I think you have to go to "Reading and Posting Messages" -> "Are there some special codes/tags...", and then click where it says "For more information about vB code, click here."

It would be neat if this were a discussion about TLJ.

No offense meant.
