Some new screens and in-game video: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/adventure...ife/index.html

Must say this game looks absolutely great.

Yes, it looks really good. The story sounds appetizing.

I don't suppose anyone could mirror the trailer? I'm not signed up with Gamespot...

This game looks pretty cool. It looks like it has the potential to be an awesome game. It's sort of interesting that the plot relates to Post Mortem. I guess the main character is some sort of FBI profiler. Maybe the events of Post Mortem are brought up during her investigation or maybe even directly relate to her investigation. The screenshots look cool. Likewise with the video. The scenes in the gameplay video looks a little like Police Quest 4 or The X-Files Game were you had to take evidence of the crime scenes. This games graphics look awesome.

Apparently there's a demo to be downloaded.

Can someone link to it, please?

As MeddlingMonk said, there's a short teaser on game's official site, however Gamespot also posted a bit longer video with in-game footage. I'm not sure if you can view it anywhere else at the moment (any infos on this game are very sparse).

Burge- demo? Where did you read about it?

That teaser really had me climbing the walls. This one has real potential.

Well, like others have noted, the teaser can be downloaded from the official website. As for the gameplay footage, it doesn't seem to be a Gamespot Complete exclusive. You might have to sign up for a free basic membership, but that's about it, and it should be free to download/stream.

As for the game itself, I think it has potential. I'm not crazy about the voice actress but then again, I've only heard her say two lines. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose. It is a nice surprise though; I had no idea of Still Life's existance before E3.

Still Life sounds like a very promising game.

I just hope they'll do something about the level of interactivity, in Syberia there wasn't almost any interactivity between the character and surroundings.

Yeah, i hope so too. But since the small amount of interactivity in Syberia (especially those in-between screens, that had no real purpose in game but to walk through them) wasn't really engine's fault, but design choice, i don't think this should be a problem in Still Life.

I don't think there's a demo available yet, the game is set to first quarter 2005, if a demo is coming, it's propably available in december 2004.

Oh a game "related to Post Mortem"

The utterly crap and disappointing PM ? I REALLY hope it s not the same developpers as PM...

I did have really high hopes with Post Mortem one year and a half ago so i really hope to NOT be disappointed again by Microids

Most people thought Post Mortem sucked because of the engine, voice acting, and conversation system. We already know that the engine will be different, and it's probably going to use the Syberia conversation system.

I thought Post Mortem sucked because they didn't work on it hard enough.

Well i would say they didn t have enough talent for making a good game

That s why i really hope Still Life s developpers will work long enough and will be gifted enough to make it worth its premise
