Default Volunteer beta-testers wanted for flash detective-game.

UPDATE: Thanks for your replies, I now have a team of 3 testers that fits the description just right.

I am very interested in helping out with this. The forums won’t let me private message you since I never make any posts (mostly I just read other posts and lurk), so I’m replying to your post.

I have a lot of experience playtesting games, and I love doing it. I believe that playtesting is not only a great way to find bugs, but also to provide alternate viewpoints on the design, puzzles, story, and other elements of the game. I love dark and gritty detective games and have played many of them, including the ones you mentioned. I am also very interested in playing adventure games that are innovative and experimental with their storytelling as well as gameplay. My favorite genre is definitely the adventure genre, followed by independently made puzzle and platform games.

I have three different computers I can test the game on, with various hardware stats:
Core i7 980X, 3.33 Ghz / Two Nvidia 1.2GB 470 GTXs / 12 GB Ram / Windows 7 64-bit
Pentium IV 3 Ghz / Nvidia 8500 GT 512 MB / 3 GB Ram / Windows XP
Pentium IV 2.4 Ghz / Radeon 9600 128 MB / 512 MB Ram / Windows XP
So in short, I have a supercomputer, a typical computer, and a pre-historic computer. I prefer to use the 1920x1080 resolution for 16:9 games and 1280x1024 for 4:3 games, but can use other resolutions too.

I look forward to helping out with this project and giving my thoughts on the game as it progresses. I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks! :-)

I think there's a 10 post limit (maybe a bit more) and then you can private message. We were having some problems with spammers registering for accounts just to send spam PMs. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Good luck with the game and beta testing!
