Cavern of Wonders Kindle Adventure Game
Spotted this the other day: has anyone tried it? Looks like a Kindle choose-your-own-adventure...

It does look like a CYOA for Kindle. In fact, I think I have the book version.

What an awesome idea! Now, if only Kindle were a format/device I was interested in...

I recently bought the Kindle edition of The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, from the Fighting Fantasy adventure/RPG gamebook series (if you were a kid in the 80s / early 90s, you can't not have played those). The Kindle conversion is absolutely fantastic, with an automap feature (that persists if you die/restart), save points, nice handling of the dice rolls, etc. It was the first book in the FF series, so the setting, story and gameplay are a bit basic, but the Kindle conversion made it a joy to play. I hope they'll convert other FF gamebooks, hopefully some of the latter, more advanced ones.

I seem to remember having one of those around here somewhere. Sadly a portion of my book collection is buried behind a wall of my wife's ill-favoured CDs.
