I could give a certain hint about this character but then it would be too easy !

Oh my head is going to explode! The only ones I could think of were Simon the Sorcerer and Quest for Glory, but those are both series. So I give up!
Btw thnx for telling us that the game is from 10 years ago. And you're right, you shouldn't be giving any hints yet!

Trogdor?
No wait, that wasn't the name of the game, just of the dragon.
Well, that game?
Can't remember if it had any wizards but the description works.

No dragons in this one. (Although, I would've liked to see one in it! )

But there is a pig! Does that count?

After hours of research I came up with Beyond Good & Evil. It's more of a action-adventure game and DomZ doesn't really fit the wizard description, but I thought I'd give in one more try.

Hi again!

Sorry , but not that one.
And because of your "hours of research" for the pig I have to tell you that there is also a sheep in this game (Hm.. a pig, a sheep, hmmm... maybe a farm? )that I hope will make your search turn to "minutes of research"

(And a little off topic:
I have played Beyond good and evil a few month ago, didn't like the system and never got to the ending, only very close.. I still have it installed and I remembered it when you mention the game. I run out of credit when I needed to buy the pearl detector.Do you think it's worth giving it one more shoot? )

No. It's not that old. I already said it's from 10 years ago.

But I'll give a hint:

My "Not-quite-dead-enough evil wizard ...." only speaks in the intro of the game, but it is found near the end of the game by the main character.

(PS : Can we have a hint about your quote in the Place that quote? Me, I'm clueless! )

Sorry for not replying this long, but I've been rather busy.
I don't think I have the time to search any more, and I am sure someone else is going to guess it.

Now about BG&E I never played the game, but it does look as a rather good game, with good story and great graphics. But the problem is I would never play an action adventure game, I tried once, and never succeeded, and it made me very agitated. But if you really made it almost to the end, then you should finish it.

I will never get over the fact that I never finished Dreamfall. I got stumbled somewhere, and then I got a new computer and had to uninstall all the games from the old one. And I'm to lazy to play it all over again. So I'd say go for it while you still can (before you get your eye on some other game, and have to unistall this one)

@SweetDalilah : I'll give BG&E another shot next week. But I'll use a walkthrough, cause I forgot what I was supposed to be doing last time.

You should keep playing Dreamfall, it's a wonderfull game!
Spoiler:
Except the ending ! But I think April is still alive.

I still have hopes for a third one!

Ok guys , I'll try to describe this time, another character from the game:

"Insane, and self-proclaimed defender of the coast, obsessed by Viking ships, pizza, soda and his cannon. "

If this is not reconized I give up!

And ladies and gentleman we have a winner!

I knew that would be reconized! I just finished Gilbert a few weeks ago!

The first hotspot was wizard Karn, and this one was Pete.

So as SpeedBo said , whoever wants to post go ahead!

OK sence I have it prepared already:
He is a very eccentric artist, but some people couldn't wait to say that he is "out of his mind"

It must be Jonah Johnson, Groucho Marx look alike, from Runaway: Twist of Fate then. Anyway GP should have the hono(u)r of posting the next character to guess.

He's not an artist. And it's not Runaway 3. Maybe something else. Think about it a little bit. This guy is a real artist. That's why I like him, cause he is so similar to me. They would say he is "out of his mind" not because he is crazy but because of certain things that he does, and where he lives.
