15 Days out in the UK... on August 2011!?
So I watched a few videos of 15 Days to find the writing in it is SUPERB (at least, when compared to just about any other AG in the last decade). But much to my surprise, the game isn't out in the UK until rather late next year.
Does anyone know why? Someone has uploaded the whole game, in English, on youtube, so has it only been released in download form? Can anyone explain why the release date is so far back if it's already been finished i.e. are they making tweaks to the game? |

Ebay only has it for sale on pre-order also. I've tried going on the House of Tales website to ask them directly but the site is down. |

Amazon often makes up release dates when they haven't been given a firm date by the publisher. I wouldn't put too much stock in it.
Lace Mamba is publishing the English retail version. They'd be the ones to ask, but they haven't really talked about their retail plans after the downloadable version launched last summer... (I've played it, and sorry to say I didn't think it was supurb. ) |

I've asked Lace Mamba many times about the retail version, and have yet to get a straight answer. Which undoubtedly means even they don't know yet and don't consider it a priority. Any actual dates at this point are just guesses or fiction.
This is just speculation on my part, but frankly, given how poorly the game's been received so far, they probably know it's a low-reward release, and are just waiting until they need to plug a hole in their schedule before bothering. I wouldn't even be surprised if they never do. |

Hi Guys
RE: 15 Days - we are looking at release in retail February - firm date TBD - as Jack said, Q1 is very busy (Edna, Gray Matter, Tales of Monkey Island, Jolly Rover) so we need to ensure that the product has the required visability and does not get lost in the "shelf" We will keep you informed in the course of January 2011. happy New Year to you all, Jason |

That's great news. I should be able to play this before I go to New Zealand. Woohoo!

I pre-ordered 15 Days way back on June 27, 2010 and the release date has changed so many times that I've given up on it. I'll believe it when I see it.
