If you want a game that is truly creepy without being gory, has some very innovative puzzles and a few moments that make you jump a foot, a game that is all the more remarkable for being made by one guy, try The Last Half of Darkness: Tomb of Zojir.

Gabe Knight 1 or 2
Dreamweb I Have No Mouth and Must Scream. Countdown from Access Software always creeped me out. |

Oh come on why does it need to be point and click? If you really wanna get scared then Amnesia The Dark Descent is the one no need to be point and click,

Quote:
1. The Lost Crown: A Ghost Hunting Adventure 2. Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder 3. Dark Fall Series (I have only played Dark Fall: Lost Souls ... pretty scary) 4. Amnesia: The Dark Descent (keyboard control) 5. Scratches 6. Dracula 1, 2, & 3 (there is another Dracula in 3rd person. Not that scary but worth a try) Not scary but Gothic/dark mystery adventures: 1. Black Mirror I 2. Black Mirror II Coming Soon: 1. Mile of Cry 2. The Last Crown (Sequel to The Lost Crown) 3. Bracken Tor: The Time of Tooth & Claw 4. Black Mirror II |

Thanks for all of the suggestions.
Here is what I have purchased so far (Should be enough to last a long time): The Lost Crown Sanitarium Black Mirror Scratches: The Director's Cut Penumbra: Overture Rhem 2 ( This and Penumbra: Overture & Scratches were a three pack) Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within Penumbra: Black Plague Sherlock Holmes v. Jack The Ripper Dracula: Origin Nancy Drew:The Huanted Carousel Amnesia Dark Descent I was able to get about half of those really cheap from Steam. The others I got pretty cheap from Amazon and ebay. |

Most were already mentioned above, but you can add to the list:
Barrow Hill Sherlock Holmes "The Awakened" Rhiannon "Curse of the Four Branches" |
