Anyone used Amazon to download AGs?
As I mentioned in the discount thread amazon is having a big sale on downloadable games with a bunch of AGs up to 75% off. Has anyone used their download service before? The couple of games I want have spectacularly discounted prices but I'm wary of Amazon's game dl software. When I used their music download software a while back it caused my system to screech to a halt and I had all kinds of problems until I uninstalled it. Does their game download manager do the same?

I haven't used the Amazon downloader for adventure games, but I used it for a game, and it worked fine and wasn't as obtrusive as Steam can be. If the prices are not a problem, I'd say go for it.

FAQ
It sounds like the DRM will come from the game, not amazon. So, if a game doesn't have DRM, then amazon's download won't add it. I might be mistaken, though.

When I used it, all I needed the internet for was to download the game. Then I could delete the amazon downloader, and the game played fine, even with the absence of internet. So don't let the downloader stop you.
