Default First BttF:The Game screens!

Because this deserves its own topic.

I was going crazy when I saw them! TellTale really delivered. They stepped up their game in the graphics department and they nailed the feel of the movies.

Two things I noticed:

-Doc wears a wedding ring

-The joke in the 2nd screen. The ad says: 'Car from the Future' and then next to it stands our own DeLorean.

Oooh, I was going to post this topic! I think the screens look good, they've got their own unique style and it looks like it's going to work well. I like their excuse as to why you can't 'control' Doc also!

Then again, I LOVE Telltale and all the work they've done so far so it's slightly possible I may have a biased perspective!

I'm curious as to why it seems that Telltale are neglecting the Wii and 360 though, maybe sales haven't been as strong on those platforms for their previous games???

They don't need an excuse as to why you don't control Doc. I think it speaks for itself
His craziness should always be spectated from 3rd person.

Just like Watson does for us with Sherlock Holmes.

Me too. Seeing how great the in-game graphics are I doubt the games will run very well on my computer. But then, the quality of the graphics for Tales of Monkey Island on the Wii were a bit rough, and the performance for the Sam & Max games on 360 were a bit jittery. Surely with a bit of tweaking, though, those issues could be fixed?

Imo they shouldn't make it free.
And up the price for the total season to 35 dollars instead of 25.

There are far higher production costs behind this project than any of the other games by TellTale. I think they deserve a little more than 25 dollars. All of the other seasons retail for 35 too.

I recommend buying them from the TellTale site. And if you pre-order you get some sick exclusive coupons like 25 dollars of shipping.

And if you buy them from TellTale you can get the physical product for free(you pay for shipping only)

That looks very good, truth be told.

Colour me interested, although I've yet to see the films.

You're definitely doing yourself great injustice if you play the game without being familiar with the movies.

Although the developers said it's accessible for both fan and newcomers, you'll definitely miss out references and the whole experience will just be more fun if you know what the BttF is all about.

Don't feel sorry for Telltale. They've been at this for almost seven years and have a lot of data feeding into their pricing decisions. It's surely a strategic move, not desperation.*

(Also I don't think they've said that the free episode or $24.95 preorder price are permanent, so people who want to take advantage should do so now or forever hold their peace if the pricing changes once the game comes out. Just saying. )

*Purely my personal opinion. I don't work for them anymore.

Will the day finally come, when I have to update my pc for an adventure game? I hope it will be released on consoles in the near future, so I can postpone that.
