Secret Files 1 & 2, Runaway 3, Dracula: Origins are the first few titles that come to mind, but there are more.

Plenty of older titles, too, like The Longest Journey and some of the Sierra games.

A few more recent titles with the hotspot-finding function:
Jack Keane Art of Murder 1 & 2 Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual A Vampyre Story Memento Mori Everlight Simon the Sorcerer 4 The Moment of Silence Exit-finding function: The Black Mirror, Nibiru, Next Life (all from the same developer, Future Games) In-game hint system: Myst IV: Revelation (A very difficult game indeed! )

Some others with hotspot finders:
Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures (press the Tab key, I think?) Chronicles of Mystery: The Tree of Life All of Telltale's games have a context-sensitive hint system. Runaway 3 also has a nice hint system. |
