Default Recommend a game like...

Can anyone recommend a game for me that is like:

Dark Fall Series
Barrow Hill
Rhiannon - Curse of 4 Branches

I love the gameplay how it feels like you are actually walking through the scenes.
So any recommendations for games that are made using this style of gameplay let me know..

many thanks.

You may want to try

Scratches Directors Cut or Darkness Within: In Pusuit of Loath Nolder. Maybe an older favorite like The Blackstone Chronicles

Yeah definately Scratches, seems like it would be right up your alley.

I also vote that you play Scratches. You might also enjoy Riddle of the Sphinx, though it is a few years old now.

Those are my absolute favorite games, so I'd really suggest "The Lost Crown", by the same author as the Dark Fall series. It's 3rd person most of the time, but it's classic Boakes. Scratches is another good one he was also involved in-as a voice actor, so I'd recommend that, but I didn't really like Darkness Within. Blackstone Chronicles is really dark and scary (although not pop out scary), and Sanitarium is very creepy.

As others have said, you can't go wrong with Scratches Director's Cut. I loved it and is one of my all time favorites.

Nobody ever mentions good old Amber anymore, but it's a real nice spooky game if you can forgive its age and if you use the installer at http://www.squirtthecat.com/

Hope Amber will behave... there's a notorious crash in the underwater section. If nothing works, Virtual PC + win95 may be your last resort.

I echo what's said above but also recommend Shivers by Sierra, an oldie but a goodie!

If you can live without the horror theme, there is the Myst series, that in a way started the modern AG.
