Looking for a game

I once played a sci-fi game. It was in space where you could be both on foot or flying around with a ship. when on foot you could also change forms from this mini mouse to almost everything. Anyone knows what i am talking about?

Maybe you should try mobygames.com and by using the game browser,you'll remember the game you are looking for.
