Default I'm looking for (the title of) a 90's adventure game

Hey Guys,

I'm in this nostalgic mood and because of that i'm looking for a game I played back when I was a kid. I would estimate that it's an early 90's game, but I'm not entirely sure. To be honest I can't remember that much of the game, the only thing I'm pretty sure about is that it started of in a hotel room. Besides that I believe it was a German game, but I'm not entirely sure.

Perhaps this is all to vague, but if someone has any suggestions on which game this could be, I'd be real happy.

Thanks a bunch!

was it a first person adventure, or a 3rd person point and click?

Deja Vu 2 starts in a hotel room. It's a first person game, and black and white, if that rings any bells. Not German though.
