i want to buy an adventure game.
what would you recomend for a very fun but not brain busting game? i know for movies i like comedy and action so most likely ill like them in games too. my system, vista home edition, quad core with 3 gigs of ram a nivdia gforce 9500 gs 528 meg 450 gig hd so that should be enough to play any adventure game. ive tried alot of underground games but i dont think im getting the full expierence. id like voice acting if possible. thanx in advance

Welcome Clear. Since you like comedies I'd recommend Sam & Max Season One. I think you'll really enjoy that.

- Jack Kean
- So Blonde - Wanted: A Wild Western Adventure (Aka The Westerner) - Wallace & Gromit (from Telltale.com) And you should check out www.gog.com - they have a wide range of games without DRM including some adventures like Broken Sword 2 & 3. Prices are either $5.99 or $9.95

there would really only be 1 clear option since you said "not brain busting" and "humor", and that would be "book of unwritten tales" which sadly is only available in german at this time, but if you can wait a while definately go for that.
another very good option i think is "ceville", download the demo and see if that suits you: http://www.gamershell.com/download_39826.shtml i would agree that samnmax is very clever and funny but for me i would classify it as "brain busting", at least i used the walkthrough constantly and it really annoyed me how much art and locations they recycled from episode to episode. |
