I think the key is that you don't have two hundred pounds or whatever to spend. So how do you buy it, and why? Not to mention the cost of the game. Save up and maybe buy in a few months. The Wii doesn't exactly have the best selection of games out there.

I personally wouldn't buy a console just for one game myself. £200 is a lot to spend on what on a console to play what is essentially a rehashed, no matter how well done, version of a game you already have.
If the Wii has other games you want, take my advice and save till you have money and get one. Of the three present consoles at the moment, I've got a 360. I wouldn't want a Wii because its just not my type of games, but when I got the 360 there were quite a few titles out that I wanted and even more coming out. I wouldn't have bought it on the strength of one title alone. Maybe the best thing is if you have friends with a Wii and you get a sample of the other games in the catalogue.

Remember though, there are is a growing number of indie game on the Wii. As far as consoles go, the Wii is prolly going to have the most number of adventure games on it in general.

the answer is no i'd say. if revolution would announce like a new series of BS games exclusively on the wii then maybe. but since this is just a rehash for console players who haven't enjoyed the games yet i'd say no.
personally i'm tempted to buy a PS3 though just for little big planet. |

Little Big Planet is a testament as to why you should never rely on users to create most of your new content.

About getting a wii just for the new BS. I would say no too. If it was a brand new, Wii exclusive game, then maybe if you can afford it but not just for this. |

True dat. They needed a more comprehensive ratings system as well as the developers being more active in the community. Other wise you end up downloading a 78 minute rick roll. Same reason I gave up on Eats.
