How successful the 'director's cut' of Broken Sword on the Wii and DS is may affect this. Rev have indicated that they are considering doing more games for these platforms, possibly a 'director's cut' of BS2, or maybe a whole new BS game (hopefully with the look and feel of the first two).

Rev have said that they have a PC-version of the BS Director's Cut but the publishers aren't interested, which might tell you something about the future of PC adventure gaming.

Perhaps a PC version could be sold as a download only from their site?

As for a sequel to Discworld, I heard Pratchett already stated if Discworld were to be made into another videogame, it wouldn't be an adventure. Presumably because they simply don't appeal to the mass market anymore.

Im going off to read about it now.

Oh and thanks for the reply on Discworld,

Is Broken sword out on the DS yet?, not sure id rush to buy it after the dissapointment of the MYST transfer on to a DS catridge, that was unbearably bad. hopefully the guys who make Broken sword will do better.
Its a shame theyre not going to make another discworld adventure game, Discworld Noir was the first one I played of the genre, ahh the memories

I always found myst a bit boring, the thing i love about bs and dw is the humour and the many things to interact with eg characters.

MYST never had any of that.

I Loved bs on gba, i could complete it in about 4-5 hrs, used to complete it nearly every day
