A little more patience. I know of one that should be ready very soon.

adventuregamers.com will give it 2 and a half stars within the next two weeks.

No review copies have been sent out yet, which is why you aren't likely to see many reviews for a while, here or elsewhere.

We'll give it 2.5 if that's what it deserves, of course.

Due to popular demand, I decided to link to my freshly posted A Vampyre Story review:

http://www.adventureclassicgaming.co...e/reviews/434/

Oh, there are also these two, one of them from some kind of International House of Mojo, but who cares about them, right?

Thanks. Great compliment, especially since the review is far from being all praises.

I dont know about USA, but for Europe (out of Germany), the review codes were sent on Friday.

So you should expect many reviews in the following days.

Funny how Jolt have "MAINSTREAM APPEAL" as one of the scorepoint factors in their reviews.

In this case, their mainstream appeal of 6 takes AVS down to 8 overall.

I live in the eastern USA and I just got my copy at my local gameshop last night. It is absolutely brilliant. Gorgeous and funny with great puzzles, atmosphere, and characters. This moves right up into my "Top 5 Games of 2008" list. An incredibly fun romp.

In the future you shouldn't bother waiting for local publishers if a game is available on Gamersgate. As long as you're a legitimate site (like AG), getting a review copy from them is as easy as snapping your fingers.

It doesn't matter what game it is or who the publisher is. Just go straight to Paradox Interactive's PR-folks and you'll have your review copy within a couple of hours, tops. At least that's my experience. I got my review copy of AVS on the day it was released (19. november).

I've used GamersGate in the past, but I wasn't expecting there to be such a gap between download and retail releases this time (the latter was delayed longer than expected). But we have it now, so better late than never.

I guess that Jack already answered this question. We have it. We're reviewing it. Patience.

It's imminent.

Repeatedly asking about it never makes it come any faster, I might add.
