I played it in italian (the original language) a few month ago. It' s a short game, the characters are not very elaborated, the same can be said about the story. The puzzles aren't difficult, but sometimes I got stuck for foolisch reasons (for example: you have to click a few times on the same item, before the main character wants to take it - didn' t get this attitude at first!).
It' s a nice little game while you wait for the next release.
But the end sucks.

I liked the game, played the German version. The story started off well but was messed up a little towards the end - I think they could've done more with it. What I really enjoyed about the game was the gameplay - the inventory is pretty much standard but that you can take notes from your notebook and use them on persons and/or items was something I hadn't seen before in a game. The puzzles are not too difficult; sometimes it's just trial and error, other times you have to stand in the right spot - some hotspots are too tiny to be seen.
The main character is someone I didn't really care about but I didn't hate him altogether. It's true, he desperately tries to be funny but for most of the times fails at it. He hasn't got much of a personality; same is true for Kat, the girl you have to play during various stages of the game.
Overall, I liked the game a lot even though it has some flaws; the story could have been more elaborated, and some questions remain unanswered when you finish the game.

This was done before in Discworld Noir...and much more successfully...
Also in blackwell legacy.
