Default And Then There Were None (Wii)

I'm considering getting this if I have the extra cash (and to support the genre on the Wii) but I'm curious. How was the game on the PC? I imagine it didn't make a huge splash but is it at least decent?

Be sure to check out our review of the PC version, if you haven't already.

I was really disappointed with the game. It's got such a brilliant novel to borrow from and yet it comes across as so lifeless and generic. The puzzles were poorly designed too, most of them border or surpass the nonsensical mark. I think the novelty of using the Wii remote might actually add a lot to the game, and I'm glad it's being released because any adventure game on the system is great, but I still think it's a pretty mediocre title that's worth a rental at most.

I liked it. The game had flaws, but I really liked the ambiance. It was one of the more memorable games I've played in the last 2-3 years.

I'm curious to know if they cleaned up any of the bugs in the Wii port (there were a few sloppy logic issues) or if they're still in there.

While not a fan of any of the Agatha Christie novels, or the PC games, I will be picking this up purely because it's on the Wii, though I'm really not expecting to be overwhelmed by it.

Thanks for your input guys. I think I'll spend freely and if I have the cash after all my main game purchases I'll give it a shot.
