Can someone provide a short review? Or even a general plot synopsis? Amazon.com recommended it to me, but I can't find a review anywhere.

The game feels good but leading the protagonist is a nighmare: no mouse, the unpredictable camera etc...

The game is full of dead ends. I would say wait for a patch before you buy it

I must be lucky not to come across any dead ends at all (except for this end puzzle which I can't solve )
EDIT: *boggle* That solution makes zero sense.

Those who played it, how is it then? It seems really good.

I abandoned the game since I can't progress due to a dead end glitch. The game is so linear that if you not follow the exact line of progressing you 'll encounter a dead end at some point.
I hope they release a patch soon, this is very serious. |

The game looks ridiculously promising. Is it really as bad as it sounds? It seems that it hasn't been released yet. Do all of you have previewcopies or something?

It's available for purchase on Amazon.com, as of the beginning of last week. That's when it first appeared on the "You May Be Interested In This" part of the page, and it had an ETA and everything.

Dead Reefs problems
I just got this game as well and have had nothing but problems from the initial install being so slow I thought it had looped to the audio not syncing and the keyboard controls not working in conjunction with the characters. I have all the necessary system requirements, so I don't know what is causing so much difficulty with this game. I finally gave up trying to play it cause it was misery trying to get through a scene. Anyone else running into this?

I experienced a delayed response of the avatar to my clicks the first time I played it, but that was resolved after a reboot, and haven't run into any other problems.. other than getting a bit bored with it, even though I want to see where the story is going, but I've put it aside for a little bit, will continue it some time.

Playing @ 800x600 (I have an old GeForce FX 5200), in higher resolutions I only get a black screen and the whole PC freezes. Even @ 800x600, the game looks nice, though. I am now at the Manor, just finished talking with the witch, and I didn't find any glitch or dead end. Keyboard control is a little hard to get used to, but I save a lot of useless navigation by first scanning any new area for hot-spots and then moving directly to them. I think it is decent so far.

Has there been any news of a patch that would hopefully add mouse support. I am thinking of getting this game even though the controls sound bad.

If you read about the game and look at screenshots then it seems awesome. If you read what people who played it says then it sounds terrible. Sounds a little to me like they were forced to release it way to early, a guess is that it's an economic question. Wonder if they will release patches so we can experience it like it was meant to be (but I'm just making wild guesses here).
