This is the UK Amazon, which is hardly something I'd go by if you live someplace other than the UK. As I vaguely recall, the UK release of the original Runaway kept on getting pushed back again & again, long since it was released US & elsewhere.

So if you are a UK resident, all it'll mean is that you'll have to snag your copy off eBay or something. Unless you don't mind waitng until 2007.

ooooh. Yea this is bad news. But it's true. There are so many great adventures to play in the meantime. Who says adventure gaming is dead?

Yes, Ebay, yes.

I always use "Ebay" when publishers think its ok to push release dates back to 'taking the piss'.

Thank god for "Ebay"

Many of you were worried amazon were correct in dating Runaway 2 for Feb 1st next year, but someone linked to a gameseek page that quoted it as October. So I contacted gameseek and asked what they thought on the matter.

Good news it seems:

Runaway part 1 is now a budget title for $9.95 AUD at http://www.gameswarehouse.com.au

I think they ship internationally.

They also state Runaway 2's release date as 31st October
