Default Adventure Game Scene - Mon June 26, 2006 (an ode to Hendrix)

It's from Voyage (a.k.a. Journey to the Moon)

This is after you eat a particular combination of fruits which results in a little purple haze.

Very fun game and a typical Kheops game. (sorry if the pic takes a long time to load)

Was there a point in fixing that parabolic antenna. I know I did, and could contact the Earth, but I don't think it was at all necessary.

Spoiler:
You could order all kinds of things from Earth, if you were still missing some items. Practically anything non-Martian.

Yet another example of well-implemented non-linearity and optional solutions in Voyage.

I just finished listening to Purple Haze when I saw this thread

Anyways, is the game any good? I haven't introduced myself to it much. No wait, MadTricks asked the same question... Well, answer please? I guess that's where I got the idea to ask...

As is usually the case, I completely agree with Emily's review, so, well, read it.

Quote:
Combining one inventory item with another to create a third has become a bit of a joke in adventure games (syrup + cat hair, rubber duckie + band-aid… need I go on?)
(offtopic)
found something interesting... really emily is right...wierd things in genre with this combining stuff. I remember Duckie and band combining in TLJ, it was really pointless, just randomly came on this solution
