Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Thu 1 June 2006

No, I haven't played the game. I haven't even watched a single episode of the show. But seeing as we (in Poland) celebrate the Children's Day today, I thought a scene from this (allegedly) one of the best adventures targeted specifically at kids would be appropriate.

And let's not forget the developers later moved on to make "serious" Agatha Christie games.

I bought this game for $10 from Target. I haven't played it yet, though. Sponge Bob's funny, and not just for kids.

The cartoon series is a lot more intelligent than you might think from the premise. I do still feel embarassed at being able to say where Spongebob lives (Bikini Bottoms) and what he lives in (a Pineapple) in polite company. People just don't understand that cartoons can be generally fun for adults as well as kids.
